Carter is a strategist with an interdisciplinary approach that balances analytic and creative thinking to empower brands like Nike, Noma, National Geographic, Knoll, The New York Times, and more.

His work has won recognition from D&AD, Fast Co, Creative Review, Forbes, It’s Nice That and CommArts.

After ten years in New York, Carter now lives and works in Los Angeles. For the past six, he’s helped craft compelling brand work alongside the folks at Gretel. Today, he is a director-level strategist for hire out to build compelling brands and consult on transformative innovation projects.

He holds a graduate degree from SVA Masters in Branding and a bachelors from NYU Gallatin School of Individualized Study, both with honors. He’s also earned a certificate of specialization in innovation and disruptive business strategy through HBS.
